This readathon is being organized by booktuber Sarah Churchill. I love her channel and I’ve found lots of great reads due to her reviews and such. She is such an enthusiastic reader and she’s very enthusiastic about anti-bullying. I participated in this readathon last year and had a great time. It’s all about raising awareness through reading. Both of my daughters have been bullied at one time or another and not in an insignificant way. Because of this, this issue is important to me and one that I have strong emotions about.
Sarah’s readathon doesn’t start until November 16th, but I want to help get the word out as soon as and as much as possible. I will have another post before the start featuring my anti-bully TBR for the week. Sarah has also created a Goodreads group and shareable artwork to accompany the readathon. ALL of this information can be found on her YouTube video about the readathon. I implore you to check it out and consider participating and spreading the word about anti-bullying.
If you need ideas for what to read, the Goodreads group for this readathon has a ton of suggestions. I hope you’ll consider joining in. Not only is this a positive way to raise awareness of bullying and what it does to kids, Sarah has organized giveaways for the week too. 😉
