This mini challenge of hour five is hosted by Shaina at Shaina Reads:
Pick a book that you felt was a winner of a read but was sorely lacking in the cover art department and try to persuade me that it was the best book ever. What greatness will I discover if I can look past its eyesore of an exterior? Leave your pitch in a comment on this post, and be sure to include a link to a picture of the cover!
This really pains me to say it, but I thought the cover of The Perks of Being a Wallflower was just ugly. At least, this edition anyway. It was such a beautiful book and wonderfully written that I think it deserves a cover that better conveys the message of this novel.
This book is about friendship, dealing with pain, and acceptance. It truly should be on everyone’s TBR list if you haven’t already read it.
